Laurie will be speaking at the GSCPA North Atlanta Chapter Business Appreciation Night meeting on January 21, 2010, along with Victor Hartmann, FBI special agent.  Mr. Hartmann will be talking about financial statement fraud, health care fraud, mortgage fraud, and other current issues.  Laurie will present some case studies of small business fraud that she has been involved with, some common characteristics, and the role of CPA’s in preventing, detecting and investigating employee misappropriation of assets.
